17 Projects, 12,280 Jobs for Odisha

Bhubaneswar: In a major boost to Odisha’s industrial growth, the state government has approved 17 high-impact projects worth ₹3,883.72 crores, set to create over 12,280 jobs across eight districts. The approvals were granted during the 134th State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) meeting, chaired by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, IAS.

The cleared projects span 15 key sectors, including Steel, Iron & Ferro Alloys, Power, Renewable Energy, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, Green Hydrogen, Tourism, and more. These initiatives will strengthen Odisha’s industrial base in Sambalpur, Rayagada, Ganjam, Jajpur, Angul, Khordha, Dhenkanal, and Jharsuguda districts, fostering socio-economic growth and job creation.

This milestone comes ahead of the Utkarsh Odisha 2025 Conclave, reflecting the state’s commitment to attracting investments and fostering industrial excellence. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Odisha has emerged as a premier investment destination, driven by innovation, ease of doing business, and sustainable development.

The state’s proactive policies and streamlined clearance processes have been pivotal in securing investments from both domestic and global players. These efforts aim to create a ‘Samrudhha Odisha’ while contributing to India’s vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047.

As Odisha gears up for the Utkarsh Odisha 2025 Conclave, the government’s transformative policies continue to pave the way for a prosperous and industrially robust future.
